Austin constructed a blockhouse style fort in a bend of the Brazos River near present day Richmond, TX. This blockhouse was known as Fort Bend, and later became the namesake of our county. Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen is named in tribute to the rich history of Fort Bend County and Richmond, TX.
