It saddens us to say that this will be our last week of serving you through the café at Pomona. It has been a decision that we have weighed back and forth since the spring of 2020. It is not a decision that comes easily or with much joy. We feel honored that we were able to offer our food and friendship to you for this long. Many of you showed so much love and support through the pandemic and because of that, we were able to make it this far. Our gratitude is immense and the love we feel from our regulars makes this decision incredibly hard.
To anyone who has had a good meal, drink, or overall great experience within the walls of our humble café, we would like to say that it has been our pleasure to serve you. To the local artisans, makers and vendors who helped make our shop what it was, we would like to say thank you. Richmond is only special because of the love and quality you folks put into your work. We inherited a wonderful space, and now someone else can fill this corner spot with some magic of their own.
This week we will be open Wednesday-Saturday 11-5, and although the café will be closed to the public starting next week, stay tuned for online pick-up and catering opportunities for the holidays, as well as details on Pomona’s next adventures. Thank you for the good times, we love you.
