Hello friends! Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Mother’s Day Teas!! 💗 We definitely appreciate all of the understanding, support and encouragement as we navigated the issues created by our HVAC system going out due to the power surge last week. We are still waiting on the third(hopefully final) inspection to determine what it’s going to take to get the air back up and running. Meanwhile we have had cooling fans running that have definitely helped keep the temperatures down as much as possible. We promise we are working on it around the clock!
Since the weather is looking to be cooler this week, we do not anticipate any service disruptions due to it being too warm. However warmer weather is coming and we don’t know how long it will take to get things fixed.
So for the next couple of weeks we will be primarily operating in the cooler mornings, and closing by 3pm. It will just be too hot to have people coming to have tea later than 1pm seatings, especially based on what we experienced yesterday. So for now, if you’re trying to make a NEW reservation in the afternoon, 1pm is the latest we can do for the comfort of all concerned. ***If you already have a later table reserved (such as the 2pm Saturday seatings), we will not be changing those at this time unless requested by the guest.***
