A sweet Sunday for a sweet cause is happening TOMORROW at Poppy’s!

We’re partnering with Better With Books to help support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library right here in our community. Throughout the day, 9.5% of all Poppy’s sales will be donated to Better With Books!

“Do you have anything dairy-free?” We get asked this almost every day-and the answer is YES!

One of the reasons we chose Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream was their incredible variety. We wanted to be able to offer more than just one dairy-free option - we wanted flavors that were fun, full of flavor and genuinely delicious. Our dairy-free flavors are also vegan, and some are gluten-free, too!

Here’s what you’ll find currently in our dipping cabinet:

🍋 Raspberry Lemon Italian Ice - sweet raspberry and tart lemon Italian ices swirled together for an irresistibly refreshing treat.
🍒 Black Cherry Oat Cream - Delectably sweet black cherry oat cream bursting with whole black cherries
🍓Strawberry Hibiscus - Fresh strawberry puree balanced with infused hibiscus, and blended into vegan italian ice
🍪Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Oat Cream - Brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla vegan oat cream mixed with oatmeal cookie dough, chocolate and roasted pecans.

And trust us — you definitely don’t have to be dairy-free or vegan to love these.

We had no idea we had won this until a friend told us! I actually forgot about it. When voting for Best of Madison County took place, the doors to our shop had barely been open. We were still finding our rhythm, learning as we went, and hoping this little place we had dreamed about would become something our community loved.

And somehow, you all showed up for us. 🤍

Being voted Best Frozen Treat in Madison County means more than we can say, especially this early in our story.

Thank you to every person who voted, stopped by the shop, visited the truck, told a friend about us, shared a post, brought your family in, or simply cheered us on. We truly could not do this without you.

We’re so grateful to call Madison County home, and we’re just getting started.

Thank you for making Poppy’s part of your sweetest moments.
