We want to let everyone know that Hot-Spot Pizza Kitchen food truck will be closing.
We, Joshua and Ashley Kovacik, have decided to close this chapter of our life and focus more on our family. As a busy food truck, our prime sales times are nights and weekends, and that schedule keeps Josh apart from our boys Jack and Maxwell on a constant basis. We are planning to restructure our life, and this is not decision we make lightly.
We want to reach out to all of you. All of our loyal customers, fans, friends, employees past and present, and dedicated regulars (you know who you are). All of the relationships we have built with the amazing people in our community, we could have never had such great success without each and every one of you! We will never be able to truly show you how much you mean to us for the support and patronage over the years. ❤️❤️❤️
We have had such an amazing amount of success over the years with our Hot-Spot brand. From starting a dinner catering service in 2020 amidst Covid, to opening a brick and mortar pizza shop in north Bryan County, and finally opening our Brick Oven Pizza truck over two years ago and bringing our Pizza to people all over the Low Country. It has been a wild 5 years serving this community. We have won several awards, including Best Food Truck two years in a row! We have never gotten anything less than 100 on any health score in 5 years! We have a truly endless pile of amazing reviews and incredible testimonials from customers over the years! The amount of people who have tried our pizza and walked right back up to the truck to tell us “this is the best pizza I have ever had” is astronomical, and it means so much to our family and our staff every time.
Moving forward we will be stepping away from the food industry. We will be putting our entire operation up for sale. We will be offering a turn-key Food Truck operation to our successor. Including the food truck and all of the equipment, and our commercial kitchen and all equipment, located right here in the heart of Richmond Hill. Everything is up for grabs as a package deal, ovens, dough mixers, refrigeration, stainless steel tables, racks, shelving. Also Recipes and all over our little secrets. We will be keeping our Hot-Spot Dining LLC, the new owners will re-brand.
We will remain open and active until we find a buyer for the business. So it will be business as usual until the right people come along.
This is truly bittersweet for the Kovacik family, we built such a special thing. We will never forget this amazing 5 year run!
