Here’s a little peek at the progress happening at The Soda Trough! 🥤✨

I’m terrible about remembering to take behind-the-scenes pictures while we’re working, so I don’t have any inside photos to share just yet—but the inside is almost complete too! 🙌

This heat has definitely made progress a little tougher lately 🥵, but we are officially nearing the finish line!

It’s so exciting to finally see everything coming together, and we can’t wait to start showing you more—including some sneak peeks of the finished shop and our new menu! 👀🥪🥤🍪

We are FINALLY in the home stretch with the shop! 🙌🥤

Tonight, we traded the to-do list for a night at the baseball field ⚾️ — because sometimes you just need an evening away before the final push!

You all definitely surprised me with your paint color votes! 🎨

The clear favorite was #1 – Cornwall! 💙 My personal favorite out of the blue shades was #2 – Hobgoblin, but I have to admit… #1 is really growing on me!

Now we need your help with another decision!

We’re planning a fun photo-op area beside the building, along with outdoor seating so you can relax with your drinks and treats.

Happy Saturday! ☔️

It has been a cool, rainy August 1st here!

We don’t have a big shop update just yet, but we wanted to keep everyone in the loop. After a few extra visits from the city, we’ve continued checking items off our list. We also thought the third time was the charm for our equipment delivery… unfortunately, we were sent the wrong product. 🤦‍♀️ We’re hoping the correct piece arrives this week so we can keep moving forward.

The good news? Windows are scheduled to go in this week, and we’ll also be finishing the utility service lines. Every day gets us one step closer.

This process has definitely taken longer than we ever expected, but we know it will all be worth it in the end. We are so grateful for your patience, encouragement, and excitement as we’ve worked through every unexpected hurdle.

We can’t wait to welcome you back through our windows very soon! ❤️

🎉 One Year Ago Today…

One year ago, we unlocked the doors to The Soda Trough for the very first time.

If we’re being honest, we thought today would also be our Grand Reopening. Life had a different plan, and we’ve hit just about every speed bump along the way. While we’re still waiting on the final pieces to fall into place, one thing hasn’t changed…

This dream is still alive.

Over the past year we’ve celebrated wins, learned some hard lessons, met so many incredible people, and felt more support from this community than we could have ever imagined.

To every customer who grabbed a drink, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You are the reason we keep pushing forward.

This first year wasn’t the story we expected to write, but we truly believe it’s preparing us for an even better Chapter Two.

We’re working hard behind the scenes to finish our new location, and we can’t wait to welcome you back very soon. When we do, we’re going to celebrate this anniversary the way it deserves to be celebrated.

Here’s to one year of The Soda Trough… and to many more.

Happy Tuesday! ☀️

We truly thought this would be our reopening week, but it seems we’ve managed to hit just about every speed bump along the way. Right now, we’re waiting on some equipment to arrive before we can get everything up and rolling.

Even though the doors aren’t open just yet, we’re working hard behind the scenes every day to make sure everything is ready when we do reopen. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

We’re hoping to have more updates to share later this week, so stay tuned. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support—it truly means the world to us. ❤️ We promise it’ll be worth the wait!

🚛✨ She’s here!

After months of planning, dreaming, and waiting… our shipping container has officially arrived! ❤️

She may not look like much yet, but she’s about to become the new home of The Soda Trough. Soon she’ll be transformed into our walk-up and drive-thru shop, serving your favorite drinks, sandwiches, wraps, and sweet treats.

🎉 Happy Friday! 🎉

It’s officially delivery day for our new building, and we couldn’t be more excited! This is such a big step toward bringing The Soda Trough back, and we are working hard behind the scenes to reach our goal of reopening on July 16th—our one-year anniversary! ❤️

We’ll keep everyone updated as we make the transition to our new location and get everything ready to welcome you back.
