This will be the final post for Dish & Spoon as we will be out of business as of May 31st. Although I am sad to have to make this decision, after 5 years, it is time to move on.
I will still be doing orders for cakes, cheesecakes and other baked goods for whoever needs them. Please contact me directly through messenger with any requests.

It was breakfast for dinner Wednesday at Preston Baptist Church. An assortment of sausages, fluffy scrambled eggs, “Cracker Barrel “ copycat hash brown casserole, fresh fruit salad and a Peach Pie Cinnamon Roll casserole for dessert. Join us in April and see what we are planning.

Wednesday at Preston Baptist Church was spaghetti night with lots of meatballs!!! Roasted asparagus, garlic butter yeast rolls and Caesar Salad rounded out the meal with a rich creamy Tiramisu for dessert. Join us next week for Pancakes for dinner!!!

The first time lightning the grill this season at Preston Baptist Church. Pork Loin, with Sweet Potato Soufflé, black eyed peas, Cashew Pear Salad, Cheddar and Jalapeño Cheddar corn muffins and rich chocolatey cupcakes with peanut butter frosting to finish off the meal. Join us next week to see what we fire up!!!

At Preston Baptist Church we welcomed March with a meal of Braised Beef roast, Garlic Rosemary mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, cafeteria style yeast rolls, a crisp Caesar salad and Strawberry Mousse for dessert. Join us next Wednesday for good food and fellowship.

Went to my local Asian market and was inspired to make Shrimp noodle bowls. I have to say I didn’t do half bad. It was quite yummy.

Everyone was looking for the baby in the King Cake cupcakes. After their dinner in honor of Mardi Gras that is. Chicken and Sausage Gumbo over rice, crispy fried okra, French bread and garden salad rounded out the meal. Join us on Wednesday to see what March has in store.

Tonight was Taco night at Preston Baptist Church. There were plenty of toppings, Cilantro-Lime rice, Corn and Black Bean medley and, by special request from a birthday girl, Dirt for dessert.

Wednesday night dinner at Preston Baptist Church was pure comfort. Chicken and dumplings, fresh green beans, everyone’s favorite Cafeteria style yeast rolls, cream bacon ranch pasta salad, fresh fruit and scratch made fudgy brownies. Join us next Wednesday to see what’s for dinner.

Last Wednesday was a taste of a Summer picnic on a rainy day. Complete with hotdogs with all the fixins, including chili and coleslaw, sweet early season corn on the Cobb, potato chips and a sundae bar with lots of toppings.

Made this chocolate cake with hombre Swiss buttercream birthday cake for a “Girly Pop” little girl. I hope she likes it.
