Our Vietnamese Coffee here at Elevated 🤎
We’ve been pondering this one for a while, and we want to share a little BTS on how we serve our beloved Vietnamese coffee ☕️🇻🇳
It all starts with a slow, phin pressed drip using robusta beans which is one of the things that makes Vietnamese coffee so unique. Robusta brings that bold, chocolatey flavor with a naturally velvety texture to set it apart from the beans commonly used for machine espresso
And here’s the part that surprises people: our phin takes about 20 minutes to slowly brew into a concentrated 5oz serving. Think a pressed filter that’s dripping drop by drop. The intensity of this brew is like espresso… so imagine drinking 5oz of espresso! 😳
Because this traditional brewing method is slow, methodical, and precisely measured, we keep our recipe consistent. 5oz of phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee + 1oz of condensed milk. Whether you enjoy it hot, iced, less ice, or no ice, the coffee and condensed milk measurements stay the same.
Now, if you’re craving a coffee latte which is listed under Elevated Latte on our menu, that’s a different vibe! 🤎 Our lattes are made with machine brewed espresso + milk base, so we can absolutely make it less ice and fill the cup with more milk to your liking. We also have an option to leave room so that your latte stays strong! Just let us know the vibe you’re going for 🤗
Two different coffees, two different brewing methods, two different experiences✨
For our Vietnamese coffee lovers, thank you for your continuous love and and support! If you’re new to our cafe, we hope this gives you a little more insight into the time, technique, and precision behind every cup we serve.
