What an incredible day at The Boardwalk, where Pokémon: Chaos Rising Prerelease just wrapped up! We had an amazing turnout today, and the energy in the room was electric, from the first coin flip to the final Prize Card.

The battles were hard-fought, the strategies were top-tier, and we saw some truly legendary plays. A massive thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the new set with us!

Also, a MEGA shoutout to our division winners who rose to the top of the ranks today! Each of these Trainers took home a Prismatic Evolutions: Super Premium Collection as a trophy for their victory!

Congratulations to our winners and to everyone who pulled some heat from their Build & Battle boxes! We hope to see you all at our weekly League events, and upcoming Challenge and Cup!

That's right, folks... Even Charizard isn't getting out the snowblower today. We hope you stocked up on emergency boosters and board games yesterday, because The Boardwalk will be CLOSED today, 3/15.

🧊🎲 Did You Know!?! 🎲🧊

It is a scientific fact that dice cannot be rolled properly at temperatures below -20°F. At that point, the dice enter a quantum-frozen state known as "Rolln’t". (Don't Google that)

This phenomenon is also believed to have ties to the origin of the word “ice.” Linguists agree it comes from an ancient discovery of an impossibly cold pair of dice—so cold they fused together, forming the what were eventually known as "(d)ice cubes". ❄️🎲 (Don't Google that either)

Historians later tried to separate them, but alas… once dice become ice, they were forever unrollable.

So, for the safety of dice everywhere, The Boardwalk will be closed today January 23.

Remember - if you're cold, they're cold. Keep your dice inside!
