It would only be right to start with a little Sinatra 🎶And now, the end is near🎶…
It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you, Hot Italian will be closing November 4th 😭
It isn’t often a business closes because of success, but in my case, success presented choices to be made regarding expansion, employees, and going “all in”. I had to decide what was best for my life, long-term, considering many factors. It was the right choice for me and a difficult one.
I had a vision and we got there! It has been SO much fun, SO many amazing people, SO many laughs and of course, SO many meatballs 🤦🏻♀️
A place where you could find laughter and conversation ANY time you walked through the door. Genuine connections.
It was an unforgettable experience to share with my son as he hit adulthood. First day fear turned into many fun nights cranking tunes, doing dishes, feeding buddies and hanging out.
Then, there is Gram, a shop favorite and my right hand man, she has done so much I can’t even begin to tell you (but she will continue to struggle right up to the last sandwich trying to get that bag open). Straight out of the Chicago neighborhood that brought about the beef, the roots, the Italian. 🇮🇹 Truly, memories that will be cherished.
To the customers… Oh I know you’re going to be bummed to hear this news 🥴I will miss you all! 3 1/2 years makes many of you much more than customers and this wasn’t your typical experience. “We give fast service no matter how long it takes” 😂 Geesh we had fun, didn’t we?!?!
Keep the page for news on future H.I. endeavors (possibly), information on new grub that may be moving in (!!!) and most importantly to keep in touch. Stop in and see us over the next couple of weeks. Although I’m SO sad, I’m more happy to have had this time ❤️
