The unofficial rules of dining at Kook Dogg in Reston, VA.

They weren’t written down anywhere. Until now.

Rule #1: Always get something for the table. This is non-negotiable and has never once been the wrong call at Kook Dogg in RTC West.

Rule #2: Trust the staff. They know this menu better than anyone in Reston and they will not steer you wrong. Ask them what they’d order. Then order that.

Rule #3: If you loved it the first time, order it again. Nobody at Kook Dogg in RTC West has ever been judged for knowing exactly what they want.

Rule #4: Do not under any circumstances skip Doggtoberfest. This is Paul’s tribute to his heritage — real German cuisine, real German beers, done right. Sept 20 through Oct 5 only. Reston has spoken. This one is not up for debate.

Rule #5: Stay longer than you planned. The table is yours. The evening is yours. RTC West isn’t going anywhere and neither are we.

Every regular at Kook Dogg found their way to RTC West and never quite looked at the rest of the DMV the same way again.
Come back often enough and you’ll add a few of your own.

First time at Kook Dogg in Reston, VA?

Start here. We’ll make it easy.

These are the drinks we’d put in front of anyone walking through our doors in Reston Town Center for the very first time…the ones our team stands behind, our regulars come back for, and Reston keeps talking about.

The Espresso Martini. For the table that wants dessert and a nightcap in the same glass. The one that tells you everything you need to know about what we’re doing here.

The Tropic Like It’s Hot. If you love sweet heat, this is the one. It’s been on the menu for a reason.

The Pink Flamingo. For when you’re craving something bright, breezy, and dangerously easy to drink and want it done exactly right.

The KDC Spicy Bloody Mary. There’s a reason everyone at every table in Reston Town Center seems to have one. Order it, and you’ll understand immediately. (on the brunch menu, but you can ask for it)
