I am writing to inform you about a significant and difficult decision that myself and my business partner, Julie, have had to make regarding our current business, Mountain View Coffee House & Cafe. Due to the challenging economic landscape resulting from poor economic policies, as well as the impact of low information voters, we have decided to close this business. Our last day of operation will be Sunday, October 27.
This decision has not come easily, as we have always strived to create a positive work environment and support our staff. The landscape in which we operate has become increasingly challenging, and despite our best efforts to adapt and thrive, it has become clear that these external factors have significantly impacted our ability to succeed. Unfortunately, these circumstances have made it increasingly difficult to continue operations.
As we move forward, I am opening a new business and found myself in need of responsible and dedicated employees to help build a strong foundation. I have extended an invitation to our current staff to join us in this new endeavor, as we believe their skills and commitment are essential for success. We genuinely appreciate the hard work and dedication that our staff has shown during our time together and hope to continue our journey in this new chapter.
As you may know, we have been proudly providing meals to senior citizens in partnership with Rural Resources and help from the local Eagles, ensuring that our elderly population has had access to nutritious food and the care they deserve. We have provided over 2,000 meals through the Rural Resources program. Lisa at 18 North has agreed to be a part of this program and will begin November 1, 2024. We are beyond thrilled and thankful that our senior citizens will continue to receive the meals and support they need to thrive. Thank you for accepting this opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
It has been a privilege to serve our community, and we are grateful for the support we have received over the years. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to you and everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support has meant the world to us, and we will cherish the memories we created together.
