It takes a community to get ready for a community celebration!

We're looking for a few extra hands tonight to help with setup and getting Luther's Table ready for tomorrow's Raise a Glass. Widen the Table Fundraiser.

We're also especially looking for volunteers tomorrow afternoon to help with cleanup after the event. Many hands make light work, and every hour of help lets us focus more of our energy on welcoming neighbors and raising support for the mission.

If you have an hour or two to spare, we'd be so grateful.

We have had a generous donation of laundry detergent for the take-what-you-need-pantry… And we’re looking for a volunteer who wouldn’t mind taking them home and portioning it into smaller increments of say, five-load-pouches.

Parking Info for Raise a Glass – Widen the Table!

We're looking forward to celebrating with you this Saturday! Here's a quick guide to parking so your arrival is easy.

Free parking options include:

• Luther's Table parking: We have 7 marked parking spaces under the covered area behind our building. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Street parking: Plenty of free parking is available along Morris Ave S and the surrounding downtown streets.

• Renton City Center Parking Garage: Just a short one-block walk away. 655 S 2nd St, Renton, WA 98057

• Renton High School / IKEA Performing Arts Center: If there isn't an event happening, additional parking is often available directly across the street.

Please note: The vacant lot directly behind Luther's Table is private property. Please do not park there, as vehicles may be towed.

We’ve had a few people ask how to get tickets for Raise a Glass: Widen the Table, so here’s the scoop:

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀!
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱.

THIS SATURDAY, July 18 from 1-4pm, come enjoy an afternoon of live music, community, and connection. Burgers, brats, beer, root beer, root beer floats, and other drinks will be available for purchase.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻?
In between sets of live music, we’ll share stories about what’s happening at Luther’s Table, hear from some of the incredible partners who help bring this community to life, and invite you to Raise a Glass in support of the mission.

Every glass raised helps keep the doors open, meals shared, connections growing, and the table wide.

So...No tickets. No admission fee. Just come down. Enjoy the music, grab some food and drinks, hear the stories, and if you’re moved to give, Raise a Glass with us to help us widen the table and make room for even more freinds.

Our BIG Summer Festival Fundraiser is almost here, and we could use a few more helping hands!

Raise a Glass: Widen the Table is coming up Saturday, July 18 from 1–4 PM, and it takes a community to make an afternoon like this happen. We’re looking for volunteers to help with set-up, food, welcoming guests, clean-up, and more.

If you’re available to lend a hand, we’d be so grateful for your help! And if you can’t volunteer, you can still help by sharing this post, inviting some friends, and coming out to enjoy live music, BBQ, beer and root beer on tap, and a great afternoon of community and fun.
