The vegan chicken rice bowl.

This dish is for the vegans and vegetarians which include fried tofu, vegan kimchi, shredded cabbage, spring mix, rice.

This particular dish has yellow radish added and some avocados.

You can always add more adding to your liking including other proteins.

Son of Egg is a restaurant located in Rensselaer, NY a short walk from the Amtrak station that has a million passengers that ride by every year. Even if you are a passenger stopping by the are stop by our Korean restaurant and enjoy a nice meal or even a drink. A full bar is downstairs specializing in soju and makgeolli. Rice liquor and rice wine which are the craze along the K-Wave.

Never tried Korean food well let Son of Egg be the gateway to a new taste experience.

We are Korean-American made so don’t expect a traditional korean restaurant but you can find traditional dishes like Bibimbap and Tteokbokki. With the Korean and American influence it will be new while tasting familiar to the dishes you already love. You might like it more. Come to Son of Egg your favorite restaurant.

Do you know Korea’s national flower?
It’s the Mugunghwa, Rose of Sharon.

“Mugung” means eternity, something that never ends.The flower blooms again and again throughout the summer, symbolizing resilience, perseverance, and everlasting strength.

Coincidence or destiny?
A beautiful Mugunghwa tree grows right in front of Son of Egg!
Maybe it was meant to be.
Just like the Mugunghwa, we hope Son of Egg will continue to bloom and be loved for generations to come.
