Daydreaming of that autumn temperature drop and cozy pastry case.

For the past six years, Darin Darin | Murals | Letters has been hand painting the windows at Perenn. In 2024, when we opened our Nevada grocery, Anton from Meadow had the idea to have Darin hand paint our espresso machine. We loved it so much that it quickly became “our thing.”

Since then, Darin has painted the machines at Franklin and Berry Hill, and now he’s working on number four for Perenn Grocery in WeHo.

These are the stories that keep us motivated and inspired.

Working with talented people over and over again, building relationships over the years, and finding new ways to bring their craft into what we’re creating is truly one of the greatest highlights of our job.

It’s also been incredible to work with La Marzocco La Marzocco USA and have their support in making each of these machines completely our own.

We can’t wait for you to see this one when Perenn Grocery opens in Here In Wedgewood Houston this October.

A little reminder to romanticize your life.

Pack the pastries. Bring the flowers. Find a patch of grass and stay awhile. Put your phone away and take the long way through the afternoon. We really believe that’s what we are craving and needing more of.

Christopher Morley came to play at Perenn Berry Hill shooting little bits around the production of our Prosciutto Gruyère Croissants.

Our house-made ricotta pancakes are light, creamy, and kissed with lemon, finished with blueberry compote and whipped citrus butter. Just the thing for a slow Sunday.

The kouign of pastries just got a summer vacation.

Sweet corn pastry cream meets buttery, caramelized kouign-amann, finished with housemade wild blueberry jam.

Somehow it tastes like sunshine, a farmers market, and the best bite of pie all at once.

It has long been a dream of ours to cook for Outstanding in the Field , and getting to do it at Lauren Palmer feels EXTRA meaningful. Very honored.

We’re creating a menu that celebrates Bloomsbury and the seasons, built around everything the farm has given us throughout the year.

We’ve been preserving the flavors of spring and summer so they can come full circle in early fall.

We can’t wait to gather around the table with all of you!!!
