Every September, Our Reno Community wakes up before sunrise to watch something rise. Hundreds of hot air balloons lift off over Rancho San Rafael Park, and for one weekend the whole city looks up together.

At Rising For People Coffee Co., rising is kind of our whole thing. A balloon only climbs when there is heat underneath it, and we think community works the same way. Our coffee is roasted right here in Reno, and every week 15% of our profits lifts a Northern Nevada nonprofit through our 52 Weeks · 52 Change Makers program.

If you’re heading out for Dawn Patrol, you’re going to need coffee. Stop by 121 Vesta St in Midtown before or after the launch, and let’s rise together.

Bring what you can. Take what you need. Leave with a full heart (and a full latte). ☕

There’s something quietly powerful about sharing what we have.

A onesie your baby outgrew last month? Someone else is searching for exactly that size. That jar of homemade jam in your cupboard? Your neighbor would treasure it with their morning toast.

This weekend we’re opening our café doors for two days of community give-and-take — no money, no expectations, just neighbors helping neighbors.

Baby & Clothing Swap
Bring: baby & kids’ clothes, maternity wear, adult clothing, toys, and gear — clean and in great condition, please. Take home whatever your family needs.

SUNDAY · AUGUST 30 · 11 AM – 3 PM
Pantry Swap
Bring: canned & dry goods, baking supplies, homemade preserves, and baked goods. No expired items. Homemade goodies especially welcome. 🍯
