Yesterday's brisket is a reminder that great results rarely happen by accident.
This cook started long before the meat hit the smoker. Fire management, quality charcoal, carefully selected wood, seasoning, temperature control, patience, and attention to detail all played a role in the final product.
The goal is always the same: create a brisket with a rich bark, clean smoke flavor, and enough moisture that the beef remains the star of the show.
BBQ teaches a lesson that applies well beyond cooking. The results everyone sees are built on hours of preparation, discipline, and consistency that nobody sees.
Proud of how this one turned out.
