🚨 Attention Rehoboth Beach Small Businesses & Neighbors! 🚨We wanted to put out a quick, urgent heads-up to our fellow local business owners. Today, our shop was hit with a few counterfeit $5 bills. Scammers are getting clever and using small bills that rarely get checked, specifically targeting young employees and busy rushes when customers already have their ice cream in hand and lines are moving fast. This comes just a few weeks after someone stole hard-earned tips right out of our staff's tip jar. Because of these incidents, we are currently in the process of upgrading and installing new security cameras around our registers. Violators will be tarred and feathered with hot fudge and sprinkles and thrown to the sharks. In the meantime, we are pulling our current footage from today's cash transaction to share with the local authorities. Please remind your teams to double-check all cash—no matter the denomination—and keep a close eye on your counters. Let's look out for each other! 🍦❤️

11 Years ago we lost a wonderful soul. Tom would be so happy to see the Double Dippers so busy. Many of the same people we have know for 28 years continue to support Eluh and Nate. The energy we created is still filling the place ❤️ Miss you Tom, it's batsh*t crazy here on this planet.

Wow... 250 years! Hershey's Ice Cream is lucky enough to be around for 132 of them and still counting. We're proud to be part of the history of this country and excited to join in the celebration. Raise a cone in honor of the 250th anniversary of America. However you choose to celebrate, surround yourself with those that make things memorable. Happy 4th of July, and Happy 250th anniversary!
