Just to clarify, my previous post: This was in no way our attempt at making a political endorsement. I would have posted any famous person coming into the restaurant.
With that being said, we don’t check people’s political affiliation or any other affiliation when they come through the door. WE WELCOME EVERYONE! Both my staff and my customers have all different political and ideological views. I was an International Relations and German major in college and have worked and traveled all over the world. To me the beauty of having a restaurant, is getting to meet and know, and learn about all different types of people and the lives they’ve lived. When we shut people out or turn to violence because of politics, we become less of a nation. Dialogue is important. A restaurant should be a safe and comfortable place to gather. I believe that having differing views and being able to somehow meet in the middle gives balance to our country and is part of what makes us a great nation. Breaking bread and sharing in libations and conversations is what helps us relate to each other as humans and enjoy the good things that life has to offer!
I hope you can see this for what it is and celebrate the small moments in life.
