Mongo’s Nervous Breakdown light roast is a rush of bright flavor!

Our light roast is naturally low-acid which makes for extremely smooth drinking, and it’s easy on the stomach! Many people who stay away from coffee due to stomach-related sensitivity can rejoice over our coffee! In fact, a significant number of our repeat customers love Mongo for our low-acidity beans.

Instead of the sharp acidic tang that overpowers many light roast coffees, Nervouse Breakdown has a mellow citrus-y and floral front end, with a caramel-like finish on the back end.

Mongo’s Ride The Wild medium roast is the perfect everyday go-to roast!

At Mongo, we source one type of organic Peruvian bean and roast it a few different ways. Our medium roast slightly favors the darker side of the spectrum, but that’s just because we have found that pulling the beans out at this particular time and temperature yields an extremely smooth - not subdued - flavor profile; taking the best characteristics from our light and dark roast. The finished product will satisfy anyone’s palette, mellow enough to want more than just one cup!

Cupping notes: slightly toasty with tones of citrus and chocolate.

Mongo’s Psycho 89 organic dark roast coffee is exactly what a coffee lover looks for in a dark roast!

Let’s start with the bean itself. Mongo sources it’s coffee beans from the Junín region of Peru. Once it gets to us, all we do is gently roast it to perfection, and that’s it! The bean has a lot to say, and our job at Mongo is to let it speak for itself. Nothing added, and absolutely nothing artificial about this organic coffee.

Tasting this dark roast is like getting a giant and well needed bear hug. Notes of dark chocolate, toasted nuts, and a hint of caramel invoke thoughts of sitting in a big comfy chair next to a roaring fireplace. Absolute comfort in coffee form. A must try if you like dark roasts!
