Today is bitter sweet!
We have had a smoking good time and have the best customers a guy could ask for!
We’ve had smokey times and spicy moments, and sweet adventures and we could not have done it without you!
We have let the smoker cool and will close the window today with big gratitude!
Thank you Rimrock Taphouse for your hospitality and support!
Like I said before, this isn’t good bye, this is see y’all later!

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the tough decision to close Black Hat Texas BBQ for a while.
Sunday September 20th will be the last day we are open.

For the last year, I’ve put a lot of time, work, and heart into this business. What started as an idea turned into something I’m truly proud of.

I’m thankful for everyone who supported me along the way; to everyone who ordered food, shared a post, told a friend, left amazing reviews, or just stopped by to say hi, I thank you. It means more than you probably know.

This isn’t goodbye forever. Sometimes you just need to step back, regroup, and figure out what comes next.

Black Hat Texas BBQ may be closing for now, but this isn’t the end.
