Eight years is a long period of time.
We had a lot of fun, we shed a lot of tears, we made very good friends for life and we really worked hard.
We have been robbed, we have been mistreated, we have been abandoned and we have been loved, cherished and helped.
Looking backward, everything we did and everything that happened to us, has been a blessing. No matter if the story was good or bad, it has been a blessing. Overall God took a good care of us, as always, giving us a wonderful community that supported us.
Every and each person that came into our shop, made a lifelong impact in our life, giving us a million stories to tell.
We could talk about the prayers received from customers, when we really needed them. We could talk about how God has sent people to bring us a good word or an encouragement when we were down. We saw miracles, we prayed for customers and with them, our place has been holy ground.
Many time we contributed to the community with all our heart. Donations, gift and whatsoever, we learned to give. We were honored to serve Redding, the city that we call our Home. When you give, God gives back to you. All the time.
During the most scaring time (pandemic), we have been supported by all of you in an unforgettable way. You were lining up outside our door, waiting to pick up our food to eat at your home, since we were not allowed to sit people inside the restaurant. What a wonderful way to show us your love. Thank you.
At one one point the difficulty were unbearable and we felt we were at the border line to our strenght. We were depressed, scared, tired. God showed up and we received an awesome donation to raise up our income and save us. Thank you.
We are thankful for the struggle, because we learned how to get up and move on.
We are thankful for the very good time, because we learned that through the grace of God we have been loved and we made special friendships.
During those years, we committed ourselves to excellence not for us, but for all of you. We made our motto a very real thing. It has been difficult but we gave our whole heart in doing so.
We are now ready for the next chapter of our life, the very one that God is writing for us.
