Ox Pasture was conceived of as a place for the local and broader community to meet, regale, revive and convene over farm to fork food and delicious drinks. The building and its design are the vision of a fourth generation Montana family who wanted to give a space to young and talented Chef Chris Lockhart & his wife Maitre d’Hôtel Gena Burghof to work their magic. The vision for Ox Pastures food that Chef Chris pursues is to source locally grown & raised foods in their season while Gena creates a warm & hospitable ambiance that enhances the community feeling of Red Lodge’s main street.
