What a great event for Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley at last night’s Sweet Charity event! I’m incredibly happy to have joined with other local bakers in support of such a wonderful organization. There were so many creative, beautiful and delicious desserts!

My offering was a lemon blueberry pavlova. (Vanilla meringue base filled with lemon curd and whipped cream topped with a blueberry coulis and a fresh berry). Thanks to the judges for awarding me Best Presentation and I was thrilled to win People’s Choice as well!

Also, shoutout to Carrie Jones for being the very Best Liaison and such a dedicated volunteer!
