Charlie O's is excited to announce that we will be having our own little Oktoberfest right here at the restaurant on Saturday 10/3.
Our sunroon will be turning into an impromptu Biergarden, so come check it out!
Plus, our Schnitzel Dinner with red cabbage and spaetzle will be available all weekend from Fri 10/2-Mon 10/5 or until we sell out!
Also on the menu is German Brats and Sausages, Pretzels, and Mustards!
Our Seasonal Beers have already made some appearances but the taps are ready for some added Oktberfest Specialties!
Your vibes and presence will make the day worth it!

Thank You, Red Hook!!

We were truly grateful for the turnout at our Lyceum Theatre Historical Walkthrough on Hardscrabble Day. So many people stopped in—some who have known this building for decades, others who were stepping inside the Lyceum for the very first time.

We heard stories, shared some of the history we’ve uncovered, and most importantly, received a tremendous amount of thoughtful feedback and ideas about what people would like to see for the future of this special space. We’re reading through all of it now, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to share their thoughts with us.

Since Saturday, we’ve also heard from quite a few people who weren’t able to make it but wanted a chance to see the walkthrough.

So we brought the walkthrough to you. 🎥

We recorded a tour through the Lyceum featuring all 10 historical stations, from the early history of the building and its days as a community gathering place and movie theatre to some of the incredible pieces of its past that are still here today.

Take a few minutes, watch the video, and step inside the historic Lyceum Theatre at 23 East Market Street.

There’s a lot of history within these walls—and we’re excited to continue learning about it, preserving it, and listening to the community as we think about what comes next.
