LOOK. AT. THIS. 😫 just got back from a great weekend in Blue Bell with the team, raising money for THON! While there, we ran into this gem: 😍 a "healthy fast food" place. It offers smoothies, wraps, acai bowls, & so so much more. ALL NATURAL. This right here is a banana whip. They make it right in front of you with frozen bananas, & then topped it with raspberries, blueberries, granola & peanut butter 🀀πŸ₯œ *this is after having an acai bowl too* *I want to live here* IT WAS AMAZING. What a productive night! βœ… Met with a client to discuss different ways to reduce her cholesterol & triglycerides NATURALLY without the use of medication! We compared different brands & items to see which better fits her needs, & looked closer into supplements she's been taking. We're all familiar with the traditional protein balls & the different variations that have been made. Welp, this morning I made my one variation!! It's the traditional protein ball with a ~twist~ BANANA. Who doesn't love PB & banana together? Not sure how or why this idea came to me, but boy am I glad it did 😍 so delicious, offering protein & carbs to refuel after the workout AND sneak in a serving of fruit πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ I will forever be trying to add bananas to anything, they're my fav. 🍌 β€’β€’β€’ SCROLL ➑️ for the recipe!! Ya just can't beet 'em πŸ˜‰ Red beets (also known as the beetroot) have been one of my favorites ever since I was really young. Weird thing for a kid to like, but I'm happy I did because beets are FILLED with nutrients and can help your body in more ways than one. Just to name a few benefits, beets contain a bioactive agent called betaine which stimulates the function of liver cells and protects the liver, & when the liver functions properly weight loss is common. Beets are very high in potassium, which can help lower blood pressure & aid in muscle contraction. A diet rich in potassium can help decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease & stroke! Vitamin C lowers the risk of wrinkles & age related dryness. It's also an antioxidant, which helps protect against UV rays!! πŸ…β˜€οΈ β€’β€’β€’β€’ I made these stuffed tomatoes the other night for dinner & they were a total hit!! They're stuffed with quinoa, lentils, spinach, zucchini, feta cheese, basil & garlic. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I'm the type of person who gets bored fairly quickly πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ When I woke up today I did NOT want to run. Typically I run for about 35-45 minutes a day straight, & today that just sounded like torture, so instead I made up an at home "circuit". If you have a treadmill at home, perfect that's what I used! If not, do the workout outside! 🌀 I only used the treadmill because it sets the pace for me, & I wanted to make sure I started out slower & got faster as I went along. It made the run go by faster and worked other muscles while keeping the heart rate ⬆️!! β€’β€’β€’ But what's most important here is the food after. What's great about working out at home?? You get the proper carbs & proteins your body needs ‼️immediately‼️after finishing the workout. It is said you should refuel your body within 15 minutes of being done & that's almost impossible to do if I'm at the gym. Post workout grubs are important to me, but I'll save most of those fun facts for another day 😜 It's almost Friday, don't forget to smile! πŸ™‚ β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’β€’
