Bring a towel because we will have water activities this year to help keep everyone cool!

Tomorrow is the Big Day! Come join us from 12:00 PM - after the firework show at dark for a day of Live Music, Watermelon Eating Contest, Kid Zone, Food,Arts and Crafts, Parade, Classic Car Show (after the parade) and Firework Show!

We are less than a month away from the exciting Ray City 4th of July Celebration, and we can't wait to celebrate with you! Join us for a fun-filled day of delicious food, refreshing SnoBiz, and thirst-quenching fresh squeezed lemonade. Enjoy live music and participate in our entertaining watermelon eating contest and kid zone. End the day with a bang as we watch the parade at 6 and finish off with fireworks at dark!

We cannot say Thank you enough to everyone that come out and braved the heat to help make our Ray City July 4th Celebration amazing!

Each year we want to learn from past mistakes, listen to everyone’s suggestions, and make it bigger and better.

Come celebrate Independence Day weekend with us in Ray City, GA!

Pet Parade at 11:00 AM, Watermelon Eating Contest at 4:00 PM, Parade on the street starts at 6:00 PM, end the night with us with Fireworks at 9:30 PM!

💥Ray City July 4th Celebration 💥 is THIS Saturday July 1, 2023, what better way to celebrate than to have a
🍉WATERMELON EATING CONTEST🍉

🍉MUST BE 6 years of age or older
🍉Each contestant will have 1/4 of a watermelon to eat, the contestant that eats all of the Watermelon down to the core will be the winner!
🍉2 age groups, 6 -12 and 13 and up
🍉Both winners will receive a 1st Place Ribbon and a Gift Card from Tea’s Chill Zone - SnoBiz.
🍉50 Participants MAX! First come first serve.

Contest will be at 4:00 PM at the Stage area where the DJ will be. If you plan to participate be at the stage area by 3:30 PM.

If there’s still open slots we will let participants register until 3:00 PM Saturday.

A huge Thank you goes to Borders Melon East in Adel, GA for donating watermelons for the contest!

We are adding some fun and exciting entertainment to the Annual Ray City 4th of July Celebration this year!

Got a well behaved cat, dog, cow, goat, chicken, Lizard, miniature horse, duck, frog etc? If so register them for the Ray City 4th of July Celebration “PET PARADE”.

***NO AGGRESSIVE PETS ALLOWED***

* All pets must be people and kid friendly, as this is a fun family event.
* Owners must clean up any mess your pet makes, including potty messes.

Applications must be received by Wednesday June 28, 2023.

We added a Kids Corner this year where we will have several different games and activities for the kids and well the big kids can play too! 🤪
