hello! Thank you for your interest in Double R Bar-B-Que & Creamery. We are a local, family owned business. This is where the Double R comes from. Just come in.

We are located in Rootstown, but have a Ravenna address. We moved to Northeast Ohio during the winter of 2011 from Humble, TX. We missed our Texas BBQ for years. Then decided to bring it! We are a fast, casual dining experience. You place your order at the counter and are given a pager to notify you when to come get your order. We also have a full service drive thru. Since everything except fried

items are pre-prepared, we don't accept call in order less than $80... it's just not necessary and more times than not, the food sits waiting to be picked up past the requested pick up time. Since quality is our thing, this hurts us emotionally when this happens. Dine-in or take it home. We make all of our ice cream flavors. We sell by the scoop, the pint or quart. We have over 20 flavors to choose from year round. It's all super good and the only problem is deciding what you want when placing your order!

Good Friday morning! Today's lunch special is our new Cheeseburger Nachos and a drink for $7.50 until 2 p.m. This is our Cheeseburger Queso dip on 4 oz. of our house made tortilla chips. We introduced this recently and got a lot of positive comments on it.

Our side of the day is our Tomato, Onion and Cucumber salad. We have both Twice Baked and Scalloped potatoes to start the day until we run out.

Our dining room is open for seating. You can get take out at the counter or using our full service drive thru.

Happy Thursday! Today's lunch special is our famous Panhandle Fries and a drink for $7.50 until 2 p.m. This is our delicious cheese fries with 1/4 lb. of pulled pork on top. Ranch beans or chili available on request.

Hey everyone! We are trying to get ahead of the Labor Day holiday. We are closed on Monday's but are taking orders for bulk meats to be picked up from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Labor Day. You can pre-order whole briskets, whole turkey breasts, whole and half hams, slabs of ribs, 4+ lbs. of pulled pork and 24+ wings. Call the store or send us a FB message to order.

Sunday is Funday! Joe decided to smoke a pastrami for the store tomorrow. It's about a 5 lb. brisket so if you want it, come early. Once we run out, we are done.

We have been amazed by the demand for pulled pork this week. We dropped big tonight so you can feel free to order by the multiple pounds tomorrow.

Good evening everyone! We wanted to put out a special post to let everyone know what the latest is at Double R. We have some beautiful brisket available. We also have our Tomato, Cucumber and Onion salad as our side of the day. After the high level of interest in yesterday's Cheeseburger Nachos lunch special, we have made a small batch of our Cheeseburger Queso dip and have it paired with a half portion of chips for $2.75 while it lasts.
