A GREAT DAY FOR A SUNDAY DRIVE! Beautiful October weather across Michigan today! Fall colors continue to develop, with some areas of the U.P. at or past peak and Northern Lower Michigan showing more color every day.

The current water temperature is 65 degrees. We’re hoping for plenty of sunshine this weekend and a fantastic for everyone hitting the water.

First day off after wrapping up the 2026
Burger Barge season, so tonight we let someone else do the cooking! We’re back tonight for their Tuesday burger special.
And if you haven't tried their onion rings yet... you're missing out! After spending the summer serving burgers, it's nice to sit back and enjoy one ourselves. 🍔 🍺 it’s also our favorite place to eat with the kids in the summer because they have a giant sandbox outside for them to play and we get some peace and quiet 🤫

Our second year running the Burger Barge has brought so much growth, challenges, excitement, and so many great memories! 🥹🍔☀️

It’s definitely a labor of love (and LOTS of hours), but it’s been so cool watching the Burger Barge come to life more and more each year.

We are incredibly thankful for every person who helped us keep the boat going this season, especially our amazing crew! We truly couldn’t do it without you. 🫶🏼

And most importantly, Cody and I (Brittany) want to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who came out and grabbed a bite to eat from us this summer. Whether it was your first Burger Barge burger or you came back week after week, it’s because of YOU that we get to keep doing this! 🥰

You all are amazing, and we’re so thankful for another incredible summer on Torch Lake.
