Have you been wondering why we changed our name? Well this article by the Rapid City Journal does a great job explaining why!

“As proud as I was of Sanford’s, everything in here fits the Freight House as a historic place. Everything relates to people, grandma and grandpa, mom and dad and the kids. It’s so nostalgic. People can’t believe it when they walk in,” Owner Brian Kelly says.

The name may have changed, but the kitschy, antique atmosphere will live on at the Historic Freight House Grill and Taproom.
