Matt's Melons We offer the world famous "Woonsocket" melons along with sweet corn grown on our farm, garden produce from several Hutterite colonies and ALWAYS fresh.

We carry Woonsocket watermelon, muskmelon and pumpkins. We get tomatoes, potatoes, onions, cucumbers, beans, parsnips and beats while in season and also carry some seasonal fruits such as peaches, cherries, and apples if the season allows. We also offer some of the best sweet corn around, grown on the family farm!! This will be our third year located on the Central States Fairgrounds on Campbell s

treet south of K-Mart. For the second year we will also have a stand on Omaha street just east of Mckie Ford a couple blocks. The Omaha street stand will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the Fairground stand will be open daily. If we arent open its either because of weather or we are temporarily out of produce. Wednesdays from 4 to 7 we are located at the entrance of the Rec Center out on Sheridan Lake Road.

Good morning. Everything is on track for tomorrow. (Sweet corn, cantaloupe, green beans, slicer cucumbers.) Im still trying to determine prices for this year. I may have to lessen my staff to avoid raising prices. Please be patient with us if that is the case. We will do our best to move everyone through as smoothly as we can. UPDATE! We will be opening on WEDNESDAY, July 29th at 8 a.m. We will be on Haines avenue in the old Shopko lot. We will have Sweet corn, a few muskmelon, green beans and slicer cucumbers. Ill update tomorrow also. See ya soon!!

Update: We WILL be setting up at the old Shopko/ the new NAPA on Haines Avenue in Rapid City. I am checking things daily and I am hopeful for next week. The first week is always a guess on what day we will be in town. It all depends on when mother nature decides to bless us. We will go to Thursdays after things get going. 8 am will be our opening time. Thank you to everyone who helps answer questions on my comments. I do my best to respond but I dont always have my phone in hand. It won't be long now!

Hello everyone..... I want take a minute and be a proud dad!! My youngest of 3 is going to graduate from Rapid City Central Sunday! I know many of you have watched my kids grow up summer after summer. I couldn't be prouder of the man he has become. Good grades, good work ethic, the best uncle and all around good person. Hopefully he'll still be making an appearance but whatever road he follows, he'll do great. Love you son!!
