First, I’d like to start this post with an apology, I was super busy at the powwow and Shante was hard at it in class! But we did our best to juggle it all and make sure everyone got their spots! We will go back through all the funds sent and write them down in the order they came in to make sure we didn’t miss anyone! I just want to make sure those who sent their funds first get their spots I will give refunds to anyone who came after! Again I apologize but I pray we got everyone and won’t have to do that! 🤞🏾
Secondly, I would like to thank you all for showing up for my niece in her time of need! Thank you all for your entries in the raffle but also a huge thank you to those who found in in their hearts to donate funds to help her get books, supplies, and a jump start on next semesters tuition as well!! She and I are so grateful for you all. Even if you couldn’t donate, you helped share the post, and others recommended scholarships and programs that can help!! She is our first family member attending a university so we have no clue what we are doing. We thank you for your guidance and support!!
Third, a huge thank you to my friend Eddie of Eddie's Tacos RC for pitching in a cater order! The cost of food is a little outrageous right now and I thank him for helping me split the bill on the cater prizes! This small act of kindness really goes a long way to show how big of a heart he has and why he was voted best of the black hills for Dona years in a row!!
With that being said and done… Tonight at 7pm Shante and I will be going live to select the 5 prize winners!! Good luck to everyone! And again, thank you all so much!!
