Rapid City Folks that loved our Catfish:
First of all, we love seeing you're familiar faces at Magnolia's!! Thank you!!
So, once upon a time, I owned a couple of Cajun Restaurants (Jambonz) in South Dakota. My best seller was our Fried Catfish. Since opening Magnolia Soup Company in Sturgis, the Catfish is the number one request. As most of you know, I cook everything on a residential stove in the kitchen at Magnolia's. I have no grill, no fryer, no Commercial hood. However, I do have a self contained fryer, called an auto fry ( no hood needed) So, I had Austin fire her up last Friday evening to see if we can make it work. Well...it works well after I had it refurbished!! So, one evening per week.... we'll be frying Catfish...Southern Style of course! We may need a little patience. It only fries a couple of filets at a time. But,we have a plan!! Stay tuned! We are excited! Sheree
