This is how I chose to spend my morning today. God, coffee and a calming environment to start my busy day. I have many tabs open in my brain daily and I walk in calmness. It’s Probably the most calm I’ve been in my life. Today I came to this cute little coffee shop located here in Fontana called Psalms coffee. It has a minimalist design with a calm energy. I ordered PEACE coffee hot with their home made banana bread. It was such a beautiful way to start my very busy day today. My nervous system is relaxed and ready for a busy day on campus. Go treat yourself guys and be kind to yourself.

Today I baked my cheddar jalapeño sour dough loaf. I sent my family dried sour dough starter packets in Texas a couple of weeks ago. They are all feeding their babies and getting ready to bake their first loaves of bread. I am so excited to share my baking skills with family and friends. Just a girl here who enjoys baking from scratch. Grateful and blessed to have the baking gene 🧬 and skills to make delicious bread and baked treats for those I love. Happy baking everyone. If I can teach myself how to bake, then you can do it too! Just one bite and bake at a time.

Vanilla butter cream and cookie on top. I use lots of crushed cookies in my signature vanilla cake batter. It’s a childhood favorite of mine and still hits every time.

As a baker I always have to try the local spots and see what everyone is raving about. I stood in line for 30 mins to get my hands on their famous cream cheese iced cinnamon roll. It was warm, gooey and worth the wait! Next time you’re in Pismo Beach come check them out for yourself. If you don’t want to wait in line and have that experience, order them through grub hub for a quick pick up. Their coffee is pretty good here as well. 10/10 rating from your baker, I don’t just through out ratings like this for no reason. It’s hard to please me with sweets and baked goods . I happily post this place for a MUST TRY!! The next time you’re in Pismo give them a try.
