I closed my bakery but I never stopped baking.
For six years, I owned and operated Café La Dolce in Colombia. What started in a small location grew into a successful business with two locations, five employees and a community that continued asking for our cakes long after the doors closed.
Then the pandemic changed everything.
I moved to the United States, built a new career and continued baking whenever life allowed. From a bakery in Miami to neighbors, families at Revlon and new friends in North Carolina, the same three flavors kept receiving the same reaction:
Chocolate. Carrot. Pineapple.
Now, I’m rebuilding Cindy Múnera Cake Shop as a boutique cake studio in Youngsville, NC and this time, I’m returning as a mom to Helena, who already has her own little apron. 🤍
