Happy Birthday, Old Friend!

Today marks 20 years since The Waiting Room opened its doors once again, this time at 66 East Cherry Street. But this story began 47 years ago, in 1979, when The Waiting Room first became a part of the Rahway community.

Over the years, we have been lucky enough to create countless unforgettable memories, share thousands of meals, and build friendships and relationships that have lasted generations. What started as a corner bar has turned into something much bigger, a place where people celebrate, reconnect and create memories.

It has been one helluva ride, and we cannot thank this community enough for allowing us to be a part of your lives. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such incredible guests, family, friends, and team members who continue to support us and make The Waiting Room what it is today.

To celebrate please enjoy these pictures from over the years. Thank you for 47 years of memories. We cannot wait to see what the next chapter brings.
