I had the honor of interviewing A Golden Spot: These Freakin Empanadas & More in Ridgewood, New Jersey! ❤️

I traveled 40 minutes just to experience these empanadas, and let me tell you… THE FLAVOR DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 🤤🔥

So many options, everything fresh, and if you could see my stomach right now, you already know… I THREW DOWN! 😂😂 From the BBQ wings to the empanadas, they definitely showed out!

And ohhh… Coco Rico! 🥤 You can’t go wrong with that!

This wasn’t just food—it was an EXPERIENCE! 🙌🏽

Since the beginning, this man has been more than a supporter. He is a father, friend, family, Realtor, believer, and a man who truly believes in giving back to his community.

He believed in Loyalty De Corazon when the food truck was making $13 a day—for months. When I felt like giving up, he stood in the gap for me multiple times.

That kind of support is something you never forget.

Thank you for believing in me, believing in Loyalty De Corazon, and continuing to stand with me through the highs and the storms. Your support has meant more than words can explain.

A Humbling Experience

This was my third class, but this one was different. This class was truly humbling.

Chef Mauwii felt their pain. I felt their emotions. And most importantly, I was able to witness how God works. I saw how they came in, and I saw how they left—and the transformation was beautiful.

I want to sincerely thank Rahway’s Best, First Presbyterian Church, and all the parents for trusting Loyalty De Corazon with your young professionals. It is an honor and a responsibility that we do not take lightly.

I truly believe we gave these young people a head start in life—not just by teaching them about business, food, safety, and the real world, but by reminding them that they have purpose.

As parents, we also have to recognize that our children are becoming young adults. They are facing real emotions, real pressure, anxiety, depression, questions about who they are, and challenges that we may not always see.

That is why education, communication, love, and faith matter.

We have to continue pouring into our young people and helping them discover their identity—not through the world, but through God and the purpose He placed inside of them.

To every young professional who participated: I see you. I believe in you. And I pray you never forget who you are.

This was more than a class.

This was an opportunity to speak life.

It is truly an honor to speak life into these young professionals and give them a taste of the real world—with permission to learn, ask questions, get hands-on, and experience what it takes to operate a Food Truck.

Today, we went from identity to food and everything in between!

They learned:
How to use a POS system
What a flat top is and how it works
What a steam table is used for
How long and properly to wash their hands
How to safely grab a hot dog from the flat top
How to add condiments and build an order
What the daily process inside a Food Truck really looks like
The importance of food safety, cleanliness, teamwork, and responsibility

But most importantly, we started with IDENTITY.

Before we teach them how to work, we want them to understand who they are, what they carry, and the purpose God has placed inside of them.

This has been a beautiful experience—not just teaching food, but teaching confidence, responsibility, business, safety, teamwork, and purpose.

We have ONE MORE DAY TO GO!

I’m grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation. They are not just learning how to make food—they’re learning skills they can carry into the real world.

IT’S TIME TO RISE. IT’S TIME TO KNOW YOUR IDENTITY. IT’S TIME TO MOVE IN HIS GRACE.

This week, we have the incredible honor of educating more than 30 young professionals through the In-N-Out of a Food Truck!

We’re going beyond the food. We’re teaching what it really takes to run a businessfrom starting the generator, food preparation and safety, customer service, operations, branding, and everything in between.

But most importantly, we’re talking about IDENTITY.

Who are you?
What is your purpose?
What happens when people doubt you?
And how do you keep moving when the road gets hard?

I’ll be sharing my own journey, the good, the bad, the struggles, the setbacks, and the victories. A man who was told he was wasting his time, but kept going.

Today, I don’t just see my Food Truck as a business.

I SEE IT AS A MINISTRY.
