If these walls could talk, they’d tell you that right here in downtown Racine, the corner where Hotel Verdant stands has always been the heart of the city.
In the framed black-and-white photo behind this plate, you’re looking at the iconic Zahn’s Department Store from back in the day… a place where generations of locals came to shop, meet up, and experience a little downtown magic. The store’s slogan was "A Gift From ZAHNS Means More," and for decades, it was the true focal point of Main Street. 🤩
Fast forward to today: that rich history has been brought back to life as Hotel Verdant. We kept the soul, the heritage, and the historic charm, but added a modern touch starting with our dining room.
And speaking of things that mean more... enter our Italian Chopped Salad. Loaded with crisp greens, capicola, rich Gouda, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and perfectly dressed for maximum flavor in every bite.
