Still resting in the glow of this past weekend ~☺️

What an honor, a privilege and most of all - a huge blessing for chef Manny to receive one of the “Outstanding Legacy awards from the Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce”.
He, along with 13 other awardees, were granted this accolade because they were recognized for creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and paving the way for future generations in the state of Wisconsin.

What an amazing gala -
we clapped a lot, we cried a LOT (if you know Manny, you know 😝) and man did we dance - Los Nenes del Lago brought it! And we got to meet Diana Gutiérrez from WISN 12 news, so sweet.
Most importantly, Manny received a trophy that the kids at home are so impressed by 😅.

Thank you to all of our loyal staff and supportive customers who have helped us get to where we are today.

What a blessing to be voted “Best Minority- Owned Business” in 2025! (And a couple other honorable mentions too)
With so many phenomenal businesses in our community, we are honored to receive this award!

Also- we will be open on Christmas Eve just from 11-2 for last minute gift cards 🎄
(Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so our staff can enjoy family time)
We will resume regular business hours on Friday December 26 for lunch at 11am. 🥘

Aren’t these eggs stunning?! What a privilege to cook and bake with farm fresh produce and items from the . Along with these beauties, Natalie will be making tres leches with honey, and various berries from their garden for the Eco-Justice center’s Farm to table event this Friday. (And of course, Chef Manny will be cooking up a storm for an elegant plated diner!)

Thank you camera.kat for hosting our first Global Wine Dinner at Olde Madrid! If anyone knows Kat, she is a wealth of information regarding wine, but also a hoot! We learned, we laughed, and we certainly ate some amazing food cooked by Chef Manny and team, and drank a lot of wine. 😃
