At Marty’s Crabs, we usually do not post on Facebook, but since we have heard some negative comments on social media, we would like to set the record straight.
We would LOVE to be accepting Food Stamps right now, but unfortunately this past fall the owner of Marty’s Crabs, our beloved Dad, passed away tragically and suddenly from COVID. Since his passing we’ve had to re-apply to the Food Stamp Program. Currently, we are waiting on the state to approve our paperwork. AS SOON AS WE RECIEVE THE APPROVAL WE WILL BE ACCEPTING FOOD STAMPS AGAIN. We are working very hard to make this happen quickly, but unfortunately this process does take time.
We are very disappointed in the negative feedback we have heard regarding not accepting food stamps during such a difficult time for our family and staff.
Marty’s is still operating as we have for the last 17 years and we would like to thank all of our wonderful and loyal customers for being so understanding and sending their condolences.
Again, thank you for understanding our situation regarding why we can only accept cash and credit cards at this time.
