Today we hit up The Loft at Furnace Brook in Quincy (The Loft at Furnace Brook). Man Furnace Brook Golf is GORGEOUS! The views are amazing. And The Loft is serving up food and drinks for golfers and the public alike - we'll be back for drinks and apps and views soon, it's so nice!
They have golf simulators downstairs too that you can rent. Padraic from The Loft showed me down there and it's awesome.
But... what was awesomest on this trip was the surprise I got when I found out the party inside was for my old friend and neighbor Tony King for State Senate who was launching his Massachusetts Senate campaign!! I didn't even know he was running until I bumped into him here! I'm so proud of Tony. I don't want this to come off political, trust me it's not, but Tony has always had that old school neighborhood, caring attitude. I don't know a thing about his politics (yet) but I do want to speak up for the man. Tony is a really great guy with his heart in the right place - I'm so happy to see him following his dreams.
