The Pier Restaurant was built and opened in 1994 built on an old railroad pier that in the past connected the city of Quincy to the west. The restaurant is cantilevered from the shore to that old railroad pier, and with its location guests at lunch or dinner get a great view of river life. In the summer of 1999 after a short restructuring, The Pier reopened with a new partner, Richard Cole a gradu

ate of the Culinary Institute of America and American Culinary Association Certified Executive Chef. In the last eleven years of the restaurant’s renaissance, the concept of quality service and guest satisfaction has been established along with creative menu items using locally grown certified organic produce and only the freshest products available. The cuisine is what we like to call Midwestern with a Twist, specializing in fresh seafood, steaks, chops, and pastas served in creative ways while still keeping to our roots.
