🍪 Meet the Bakers: Tracy Priest of Desert Bloom Cookies 🍪

For Tracy Priest, baking began in 2008 as a hobby during a season of military deployments. As a military wife looking for a creative outlet and a little peace in the midst of uncertainty, she signed up for a class at Michael's just for fun.

Six months later, "just for fun" had turned into private lessons with a generous local bakery owner who shared 35 years of knowledge in candy making, cookie decorating, cake design, and sculpted cakes. One lesson led to another, and before long, Tracy had discovered a lifelong passion.

Today, Tracy is the creative heart behind Desert Bloom Cookies, where every cookie carries a little bit of the joy that baking has brought to her own life.

When she's not creating beautiful cookies, Tracy is celebrating another role she treasures just as much: wife of 25 years, proud mom of two amazing adult children, and grandma to two energetic grandchildren who make life wonderfully sweet.

This year, Tracy was one of the talented bakers who helped make the CookieCon Tasting Event possible, sharing her recipes and helping create the incredible 900 cookies enjoyed by attendees. We're so grateful she shared her talent and her story with all of us.
