Hello everyone. How are you all doing? It has now been 41 days since we had to be out. The first thing that we all talk about when we talk is how much we all miss all of you!
Anyway, I’m sorry I haven’t been on here much. This has truly been one of the hardest times of my life! I’m getting through it though. Thought I’d give y’all an update on everyone and how we are all doing.
Liz has landed a job at Leslie’s Pool Supply on Hunt Hwy by the Walmart. She is learning and she is doing well. She’d love to see any of you that want to stop by.
Brenda is working with the elderly. She is enjoying learning new things and is a busy little Mom and Wife! She is currently a little sick, but is doing well for the most part!
Yeimi is learning how to enjoy being the world’s greatest house wife! Hopefully there is a house and a baby in the near future!
Eddie is working at Skippys. He calls every week or so to check on how everyone is doing. He is doing fine!

I have not found a job yet. It is getting quite scary! I am working on all the clutter that I already had at my over due for organization house that I never had time to get too because I was working so much, and trying to get through all the restaurant Stuff! I am having garage sales from this weekend forward until I am out from under so much clutter and can pay
Some bills. Please come see me if you want to check out what all I am selling. I currently have a mini fridge, a few bikes, one of them things you stand on and it takes off and try’s to kill you, some furniture, a big bird cage, clothes, shoes, etc. I am not selling the restaurant Equiptment at this time. I do still have hope to open another location, but I don’t think I will be able to find any investors and I am not willing to take on this HUGE project that will literally cost millions of dollars unless things change in the upcoming election.
I also bought a freeze dryer. I have been trying to freeze dry stuff from our organic garden. I currently have freeze dried spinach, loquats, eggs, and peach rings. This is for sale if you want to come by the sale I’m having. I also have some loquat jam that I just finished last night for sale! You can also pm me and we can meet on another day, or if anyone is interested, please pm me and I will let you know when I have new stuff ripe from the garden or the fruit trees to sell.
I currently have a bunch of onions in the freeze dryer so they will be available soon and I am going to make some fresh onion powder. I have fresh coriander and sunflower seeds available hopefully by next weekend. I am also in the process of making some pure vanilla extract. It should be ready before Christmas. Lmk if you’re interested in that too. I will hopefully have some fig jam coming soon. And who knows what else. My house is off of Hawes and Mewes, between Riggs and San Tan Blvd. Look for the sale signs. I will be out tomorrow and Sunday this week and next weekend and the next… I’d love to see some familiar faces! Message me if you have any questions or for anything! Hope to see you soon! Good Morning Sunshine ☀️ I hope this morning has started well for all of you! This is it! Today is our last day. We will be open until 2 as usual. Come see us off and please don’t hesitate to come to the kitchen and give Liz and I a hug also.
I really can’t think today, I’m just a blubbering idiot, so I’m just going to write what’s on my heart. ♥️
I’m sure there are some people out there thinking, it’s JUST a little restaurant. What’s the big deal? Get over it already! To the rest of us, it is so much more! I don’t get out on the floor much these days since I’m stuck in the kitchen, but those of you that have been with me for the last 20+ years and those that have come into the family since, Ya’ll get it! When you walk in and get that feeling of home and love, that is my heart! That is my work family’s heart! This is the place that everyone needs, but not everyone finds. It’s the place that movies and sit coms have been written about. It is a home away from home where you can come eat and chat and be served by people that aren’t just here because it’s a job, but because they genuinely care about you and love you. It’s a feeling and an atmosphere that is special! One that you can’t find at a corporate restaurant or a franchise. We are honored that you have accepted us to be part of your family and that you have become a part of ours.
Thank you for all of your kind words. Thank you for all of the love and encouragement and support! Please pray that the next project is exactly where God wants us and has intended for us to be. Pray that the right doors open and that it can somehow happen quickly and without too many kinks. I will keep you posted on our FB page and on our internet page. www.eggstc.com

Good Morning Queen Creek and San Tan Valley! The countdown is on! We have 3 days left to serve you. We are only going to be able to take cash for the remainder of our time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
We want to thank everyone for the love and all the encouraging words and donations. We are humbled by all of you! This surprise has been hard for all of us. You all have truly helped with Marale and truly helped us to get through! We really do love and appreciate all of you.
I also wanted to explain our Go Fund Us Fundraiser a bit better. When I first got notice that we had 30 days to get out, I had a knee jerk reaction and started the stressful rushing about thinking we could just find a new spot to plug in and go without missing a beat. As time has sped by reality has hit me HARD in the face. Even if we found a place, we would have to get set up and wait on inspections and all kinds of stuff before the doors could open. I have found where I'd like to be, but I will have to seek out a loan and some investors because it will be a HUGE undertaking! Stay tuned for more on that as it develops.
So as far as the Go Fund Me, there will be bills coming after the doors are closed and there is no money coming in. There is also another pay check for my girls. If I can cover all of that I would love to be able to give my girls a bonus. We have been a work family for years. I appreciate them staying by my side until the bitter end. Please help me to be able to do this.
There is a stigma I guess where many people think that if you own a business you're rich. This is the furthest thing from the truth! I always get paid last, sometimes I don't get paid. I always make sure everyone else and everything else is taken care of first. Anyone who knows me will attest to this. I don't live in a Mansion on the Mountain, I live in a trailer, Im a single Mom, I have 5 kids and my twin 15 year olds are still home with me. I never started this business to get rich, nor did I expect this to happen. I was a waitress who always ended up managing and an opportunity fell in my lap, so I took it.
Since Covid we have been playing catch up. I paid every dime I had to my people. Since we re opened, we have never gotten back to pre covid numbers. In fact we were finally re building and working very hard and then this bomb dropped on us. I hope this helps to clarify why we are running a fundraiser. Those that are wanting to come help us move out, we will be here Monday and Tuesday starting at 8:00 AM until we are done!! Bring your smile, muscles, dollies, trucks, trailers AND YOU!
