On our journey...cold, wet & windy lately. Another great place to get a quiet night's sleep if you're heading south to Quartzsite. Just after entering Utah on the I-84, exits 5 & 7 will get you to the Hitching Post RV Park. There's a flying J, Sinclairs & a few spots to eat all within a mile, maybe. Check in is a breeze & kinda fun. Park in front of the office, go inside, it's warm & cozy, look at the map & rates, write you name & phone number down on the guest sheet, fill out a few questions on the envelope, put CASH inside, drop it in the box & go get set up. Nice long pull thru & back in spots. 50amp $45, 30amp $40. Less than half full on a weekend. They have a cafe (?) but closed weekends. Safe travels all our snowbird friends.

Paul & I are finally on the road. I wanted to pass on the name of an RV Park we found. We are currently on the I-5 north of Sacremento near Dunnigan. Happy Time RV Park. Pilot & all at the same exit (554). RV Park is a block away. Easy in & out pull thru spots. We had to unhook the truck since they are not 65' spaces. They have both 30 & 50 amp service. Easiest check-in EVER. $47 flat rate. Lots of trees, mild weather. Check it out if you are on your way down the 5 to the Q.

I wanted to let everyone know we finally made it out of Quartzsite. Glad the flat isn't on the Monaco. As it was, it hurled me across the oncoming lane. Very scary. I vote for no more flats..
