We have officially started our "Fall Hours" along with a lot of our Fall Flavors. Pumpkin, Apple Pie, Egg Nog, Pumpkin Cheesecake, Chocolate Hazelnut, Praline's and Cream and Chocolate Pretzel Peanut Butter. Plus we have a few Fall Flavors of Water Ice! Thanks for your continued support!

A little Labor Day Trivia;
1894 President Grover Cleveland along with Congress makes Labor Day a National Holiday.
The Adamson Act, signed September 3rd, 1916, established the 8 Hour work day. Prior to that it wasn't uncommon to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week!
Canada celebrated a day honoring Labor in 1872 beating us by a few years.
And of course, you can no longer wear white after Monday!

Did you miss the fireworks on the 4th due to the weather? You get a second chance tonight. Sellersville Fire Company's carnival is wrapping up today and tomorrow. Fireworks tonight around 9PM. What better way to enjoy the fireworks than with your favorite Rosemarie's Treat. Ask for it "To Go" and we'll put it in a larger cup with a lid. Of stop by our Sellersville store, Kool Licks Water Ice as we have extra people on to help move the line. Thanks for your continued support!

Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration off Independence also hosted the first official July 4th celebration at the White House in 1801 during his Presidency. This day was declared a National Holiday in 1870. Three Presidents died on the 4th of July, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson passed away within hours in 1826 and James Monroe in 1831. Only one President was born on the 4th of July, Calvin Coolidge in 1872.

Trivia Time!
-Memorial Day began as early as 1864 primarily in light of the Civil War however the tradition of honoring our fallen soldiers dates back to the ancient Greeks and Romans.
-Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day.
-New York was the 1st State to officially designate Memorial Day as a Holiday in 1873.
-Most Southern States didn’t officially adopt Memorial Day until after WW1.
-In 1971 the Holiday was moved from May 30th to the last Monday in May.
