Are the redoing of the tracks in Pulaski now a yearly thing? Holy crap this sucks! I kind of liked feeling like I was in an earthquake when I turned on 13 on my way to work!

To offset it we are eliminating all delivery fees for the rest of the time it takes them to finish the Tracks. Well until next year when they do it again! Pulaski ONLY, order for delivery either on the app, website or by phone and you pay no delivery fees!

Our hearts are heavy today. What a friendly, down to earth person Bruce Was. In a world where communication seems to be a skill some don't comprehend, he was always a person you loved to talk to. There would be days where we were stressed and tired and your feet just hurt. Then he comes in and when you realize all the crap he and his family were going through with his illness YOU actually felt better talking to him because he just made life seem so enjoyable. Even when you hear he is on the roof of his house fixing stuff even though he could have called anyone to help him. Took life for what it was and lived it the best he could. When talking to him he made those aches and pains disappear. Mainly because by the time we got done talking to each other it had healed itself 😆. Our family here will miss you. When you are in business for as long as we have been, it gets hard to say goodbye to people who have helped shape your life as a business and as a person. Our thoughts are with his family. RIP Buddy.

This morning we woke up to the news that Bruce had passed away. We are once again heartbroken for his family and for this community as a whole

Bruce was larger than life, no matter where he went. He knew everybody. He would come into the Diner and it would take him 10 to 15 minutes to get to his seat because he stopped along the way to talk to every single person that was there. He knew everybody, and everybody loved him. He had a smile that went on for days, hugs that would put a bear to shame, and a positive attitude about everything. If I was busy and running around trying to concentrate he’d always say “Smile you’re too serious!”

He fought this fight with cancer with such grace and faith that I’m sure it’s impacted everyone who knew him. We will miss him but he will never be forgotten .
In 2 Timothy 4:7, Paul says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
Rest in Peace Bruce , we love you!!!❤️

Story Time...

Today is the Final of the World Cup 2026. Now my team, Italy, is not doing the best when it comes to qualifying for the World Cup. Stubbornness is not a trait us Italians lack.

This first photo however is the day I fell in love with them. We were at Giants Stadium June 18th, 1994. I was 14 and the Italia Scarf I had was given to me by my dad at Christmas along with the news we would be going to the game the next Summer. Safe to say I was a little excited!

While walking to the Stadium an Ireland Fan asked me if I would be willing to trade my Scarf for his. I looked at my dad and told him I didn't want to. He put his hand on my shoulder and explained that this is how you get to know people from another Country and Culture. Sharing experiences, stories and moments with people you have never and most likely will never meet again (1994, no cell phones or Social Media ) is what this is all about.

So reluctantly I swapped, Italy lost 1-0 and that Ireland Scarf became the first in my collection.
