I just wanted to tell you guys a little information about plant based meat! It contains 18grams of protein and only 120 calories for 3/4 cups and that’s how much meat I put in my burritos! It’s made with soy protein and other spices and natural flavors which keeps it vegan and gluten-free! It can be used in any dish that real meat is in. I know the word “plants based meat” can be intimidating and doesn’t sound like it would be good, but hopefully I can change your mind I always tell my kids “ don’t knock it till ya try it”! I made a small portion this morning so you can have a visual, I added mushrooms a small amount of corn, spices and cheese!

Today was my meeting about my food business, a lot of things were talked about and discussed and I am aloud to open back up but will have some temporary changes!! I am not aloud to sale products with meat unless it’s in a commercial kitchen, which I am working on renting a kitchen but it might be a month or so. I can still sale anything without meat, including my CORN!!! I can also use “beyond meat” which is a plant based item, I’ve had it and actually really enjoy it! I will be making new things soon, I always want to make them for myself before making them for you guys so I know that what im serving you is delicious. I CANT WAIT for you guys to try my new “meatless meals”!!! I also wanted to say thank you to everyone for the encouragement and tips I’ve received in the last week, I really appreciate you guys supporting me so much and having my back.

I’ve talked to the compliance officer about my business again today and looked into all of my options. I can not afford a food truck that is up to health standards for cooking, they are $20,000 +, my other option would be renting a restaurant kitchen and I don’t make enough money to pay for the rent of a kitchen, plus food , plus the licensing I will need. I will no longer be able to sell food and he is making me close Dished Delights. Once again thank you everyone for supporting my short lived business. ❤️
On a side note - whoever turned me in for not cooking in a commercial kitchen, I hope this makes you happy. I hope you sleep great at night knowing you shut down a SMALL business that was just trying to make money to support her kids. Im so angry with whoever you are BUT instead of being hateful about this im just going to pray for and your apparently unhappy life.
