Thursday, June 18th
We're looking forward to the providence.tartan.army march that leaves 195 District Park and returns to The Guild PVD for a special night with Ciaran Whyte Georgia Johnson and Rhode Island Highlanders .
We are open at 10:00am in the pub, and are opening our block at 5:00pm because we're anticipating 195 District Park to be jam packed and we will be setup with 10 bars on Orange St. like last Saturday! Ciaran Whyte will join us with his guitar at 7:00pm to lead the night with Scottish classics and standards.
After TA in the Park is complete, join us for the after party on our block until midnight! We will also have a DJ set in G Pub and performances in the Ballroom including a special rendition of No Scotland No Party at 11:00pm!
When leaving TA in the Park, there are 3 high volume events sanctioned by public safety to serve large crowds. In addition to ending your night at GPub. Speak Easy, Eat Well. our friends at TeamPVD and HotClub also have events including a performance by Extraordinary Rendition Band at Hot Club.
Friday, June 19th
Finally, yes, the rumors are true! G Pub will open at 9:00am on Friday morning for the Scotland/Morocco pre-game! It is too early for amplified noise and an outdoor event on Friday morning in our neighborhood, so please join us indoors at GPub. Speak Easy, Eat Well. and Ballroom at the Providence G which will be open! We will be open with watch parties for the Scotland game with our friends Rhode Island FC and Defiance 1636 ⚓️ who will be on hand to celebrate the beautiful game with everyone. Our venues at the Providence G will be open late after the game so we can say goodnight and farewell!
