Something special is happening on the gallery wall at Farm Fresh RI!

On view through June 1 as part of Open Valley, Resilire is a vibrant group exhibition curated by New Harvest Coffee’s Head Roaster and Providence-based artist Kim Arthurs, installed right outside the New Harvest space.

Featuring 20 Rhode Island-based artists working in everything from eco-art and recycled materials to photography, painting, collage, printmaking, and mixed media, Resilire explores what it means to bend without breaking and how we can look to nature as a model for resilience, adaptation, and community care.

The work is thoughtful, emotional, and colorful. Stop by, grab a coffee, and spend some time with these incredible pieces while they’re up.

Featuring work by Kim Arthurs, Sasha Azbel, Jaden Kyung-Moon Bauch, Sally Bozzuto, Paul Briggs, Jenny Brown, Susan Clausen, Daniela Coray, Riley Farlow, Ann-Marie Gillett, Melissa Goodier, Hannah Hallett of Canvas Elevation, Ellie Huntress, Michael Kays, Lindsey Langenburg, Anne Manera, Marta Martinez of Cafe Recuerdos, Matthew Napoli, Lydia B. Therrien, Roseminna Watson, and Abaigael Wright.

We're SO excited to make our way to Concord, NH this weekend for The Northeast Coffee Festival! Their team is hosting two full days of coffee culture, community, and education with 40+ hands-on workshops, cuppings, panels, and conversations led by dozens of experienced industry professionals - including live demos from top-tier baristas, interactive tastings of rare and exclusive offerings, a community market, latte art competitions, local food vendors, artisan pastries, live music, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow coffee lovers and industry professionals.

Rik will be participating in Friday’s 1:30 panel discussion, ""The Struggle is Real: Navigating Increasing Costs Across the Specialty Coffee Industry"", and you’ll find Britta hosting ""Intro to Cupping"" on Saturday at 10:30 and ""How to Shop for Coffee"" on Saturday at 3:00. It's over 60 degrees, which means its basically ice cream weather... which means it's time for a trip to Three Sisters. They're a long time favorite on the East Side, and you'll find delicious homemade ice cream, casual breakfast and lunch fare, pastries, burgers, and freshly roasted New Harvest Coffee on the menu. They're right across the street from Lippit Park, so if you're stopping by the farmers market next weekend, grab a cone, too!

Proud to have been a tiny part in 's (Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council) incredible cleanup and beautification project on the Greenway.

"130 friends and neighbors showed up for the Woonasquatucket on April 25 and made a real impact. Together we removed 29 bags of trash and 8 cubic yards of debris, planted blueberry bushes, spread mulch, and cared for the Greenway we all share." -

Our community really can do amazing things. Please give a follow and stay tuned for future volunteering opportunities with them!

The Chemex was first designed in 1941 (now part of the Museum of Modern Art collection!) and is one of those rare appliances that looks as good as it works. It’s simple, reliable, based in Massachusetts, and makes an incredibly clean, smooth cup every time, which is really due to the special filters. They’re thicker than most, which means they catch more oils and sediment, leaving you with a cup that’s bright, crisp, and super balanced without the bitterness. It’s an easy pour over method that really lets the flavors shine, especially with lighter roasts. If you’re into coffee that tastes clean and full of nuance, Chemex is hard to beat.

Looking for a new Chemex? Come by the cafe and we'll set you up!
